Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Amazon hasn’t announced its sale dates yet. In recent years its Black Friday sale has started about a week before Thanksgiving, so we expect deals to begin around November 19.
The prices below were checked between October 8 and 14, 2026, and we’ll update them when Amazon’s sale starts. Last updated: October 14, 2026.
This guide tracks the best 3D printers you can buy on Amazon for $300 or less, with current prices, so you can compare them before Black Friday and Christmas. It covers 8 printers under $300 (6 filament and 2 resin) plus 4 multicolor and kids’ options just over the line.
We aren’t calling any price a record low yet. Use the October prices as your baseline and compare them against Amazon’s sale. For other budgets, see our under-$200 guide and our full Black Friday deals guide.

How to Choose a 3D Printer Under $300
1. Auto leveling
Manual bed leveling is the step that makes beginners give up. Every FDM printer in this guide levels its own bed.
2. FDM or resin
FDM suits most uses and is cleaner. Choose resin only if you want miniatures or jewelry and can handle gloves, ventilation and cleaning.
3. Single color or multicolor
Single-color printers are cheaper. A multicolor printer such as the Kobra X switches colors automatically, but costs more and uses more filament.
4. Enclosed or open
An enclosure such as the Adventurer 5M’s keeps drafts and noise down and suits ABS and PETG. Open printers are fine for PLA.
5. Build size
Mini printers suit small prints. A 220mm to 260mm bed handles most home projects, such as organizers, planters and phone stands.
6. Support and community
Ender and Bambu Lab printers have large owner communities, so most problems have a tutorial.
What Not to Buy
- Printers without auto leveling – Manual leveling is the biggest beginner frustration
- Unknown brands with little support – Replacement parts and help are hard to find
- Used printers with no warranty – You can’t check their condition
- Crowdfunded printers that haven’t shipped – Delays are common
Out of stock when we checked (October 14): The Sovol SV06 ACE, Creality Ender 3 V3 KE, original Creality Ender 3, Entina Tina2 Basic V11 and the original ELEGOO Centauri Carbon had no current offer on Amazon, so we left them out. The Creality K1 SE and ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro are no longer listed. Our reviews are still available: Centauri Carbon, K1 SE and Neptune 3 Pro.
Best 3D Printers Under $300: FAQ
What is the best 3D printer under $300?
For most people, the Bambu Lab A1 Mini at $249 is the easiest to use. If you want the lowest price, the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE is $199. For multicolor, the Anycubic Kobra X is $299.99.
Can you really get a good 3D printer for under $300?
Yes. Printers in this range now include auto leveling and speeds that were rare a few years ago. Every FDM printer in our under-$300 list levels its own bed.
Should I buy a 3D printer now or wait for Black Friday?
Use the October prices on this page as your baseline and check each printer’s price history. If a printer drops below its current price during Amazon’s sale, that’s a real deal. If you need one sooner, buying now is fine.
When does Amazon’s Black Friday sale start in 2026?
Amazon hasn’t announced the dates. In recent years its sale started about a week before Thanksgiving, which would be around November 19. Black Friday is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30.
Which printer is best for a gift?
The A1 Mini is the safest gift for most people because it works out of the box. For a child, the Entina Tina2C is the cheapest option and arrives fully assembled. For someone who wants colors, the Kobra X prints in four colors.
FDM or resin?
FDM printers melt filament, are cleaner, and suit most uses. Resin printers cure liquid resin with UV light, give much finer detail for miniatures and jewelry, and need gloves, ventilation and alcohol for cleaning. Most beginners should start with FDM.
Do I need to know CAD to use a 3D printer?
No. Sites such as Thingiverse, Printables and MakerWorld have huge libraries of ready-to-print models, so you can download, slice and print without designing anything.
What about filament costs?
In the add-ons below, PLA on Amazon works out to roughly $11 to $13 per kilogram in 2kg and 4kg packs, so filament is a small ongoing cost.
