Is the AMS lite worth the extra cost?
If you want multicolor prints, yes. The AMS lite switches between up to four filaments automatically, so you can print gradients, multi-material parts and colorful decor without swapping filament by hand. On the A1 Mini the Combo costs $120 more than the printer alone.
Will these printers work with third-party filament?
Yes. Bambu Lab printers use standard 1.75mm filament, and many third-party brands work well in PLA, PETG and TPU. The Bambu Studio slicer includes profiles for popular brands.
Do I need any additional accessories to start printing?
